PB and/or Description: A normal Samasu, with long, rather untamed black hair that seems to have a slightly brown-ish color depending on the lighting, and dark skn. He keeps his eyes almost constantly closed, but when opened, his eyes are a very pale purple color. He can't help but automatically squint a little, due to disuse. He usually is seen carrying a cane, unless if he's somehow misplaced it at the moment. [ Latest Picture ]
Personality: An incredibly easy-going guy, especially for a Samasu. You might say he's got a bit of a... "mokey-mokey" effect on some people. He's calm, collected, good-natured, and friendly towards others, even if sometimes, he doesn't get the same response. He's not the spiteful type, but he can sometimes be a little teasing. Generally though, he's got a good read on the situations at hand, in no small part due to being able to read a person's "aura", which can shift due to a person's mood. As a result, he comes off as essentially empathetic towards others, but he isn't really sure if that's the right definition for it, since he's cheating in a way.

Being blind does have it's set-backs, namely that he has a lot of difficulty getting around Noriko's mansion without help, and has trouble understanding where he really is if he's outside, but he's somehow managed to survive thus far without getting into real trouble, right? And when trouble does pop up, he's the type to take it all in stride, knowing that no matter what, things will turn out fine. A true symbol of optimism, here. He does enjoy making friends though, but due to it, he kinda seems like a bit of a doormat, being willing to take the abuse or dismissal from the other servants that comes as a result of his disability, long as they don't ignore him completely.
History: Born entirely blind from the off-set, he was always seen as a bit of a burden to his immediate family. He was home-schooled from a young age due to the problems that would come from trying to send him to school, despite his claims that he could tell where people were, at the least, and it's left him feeling rather... lonely. Despite it, he seemed to have a good grasp on the subjects he was taught by the tutor they hired, allowing him to at least feel confident in himself, academically.

As for how he ended up as a servant, though? No one's really sure, actually. Not even him. Some actually aren't sure if he's actually dead or still alive, since he still seems to need to eat, drink, and sleep regularly. The current theory is that sometime in the late 90s to early 2000s, he may have accidentally slipped into a dimensional hole at some point, after wandering outside, and when found in Makai by the Ultimate Obedient Fiend, and the other servants, that he was simply... assumed to supposed to be there, already. The fact that he hasn't seemed to really age in a while, far as anyone knows, only adds onto the mystery. It goes without saying though that he hasn't really minded this, past the initial confusion, given the strain his presence had put onto his family. Who knows exactly what they think about his disappearance, though.

Not that he was liked, however-- adding on the fact that he couldn't sense any of the other servants, and the fact that he still operated like a normal human, he's been considered to be a troublesome sort... something that hasn't much improved with working for Noriko instead, where he's usually situated as the guard outside of the mansion gates, just to keep him out of the way. This leads to him accidentally wandering off the grounds, due to getting a bit mixed around. Though it's arguable how he can manage to get himself mixed around when Noriko's home, since her aura is very likely large and hard to miss, for him.
Abilities: As noted, he's blind as a bat, but to make up for it, his (what could be read as) EARTH-based abilities allow him to sense the "auras" around him from living beings, including animals and plants. He can't sense dead souls however, but he can sense Duel Spirits, long as they're considered to be "alive", so no outright zombie-types, here. He can even describe these auras using colors or sensations that come to him, though sometimes, his ideas on what colors might be are really up to the other person to believe, since he's never truly seen colors before. Apart from this, he's actually sorta an enigma. He doesn't seem to be aging, far as anyone can tell, yet he's very likely still alive. He seems to have a strange knack at popping up in odd spots for no discernible reason. And this isn't even mentioning the strange calming effect he has on people-- though whether that's supernatural, or just because he's too easy-going to really get tensed up about, is up for debate. Bottom line is, he's likely got more about him than he shows.
